About the Role

• We are looking for an experienced and dependable Truck Driver to support the movement of pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and bulk goods for our Victoria Island operations.
• You will be responsible for safe driving, timely deliveries, and proper care of the company truck and cargo.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Operate company truck safely within Lagos and inter-state routes. Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies
• Timely Deliveries: Pick up and deliver goods from suppliers, warehouses, and make bulk deliveries to clients around VI, Ikoyi, Lekki, Apapa, and other locations as assigned
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on truck - oil, water, brakes, tires, lights. Report faults and ensure routine servicing is done
• Documentation: Carry valid delivery notes, waybills, and vehicle documents. Ensure proper loading, offloading, and securement of goods
• Security: Ensure the safety of goods in transit. No unauthorized passengers or stops
• Record Keeping: Maintain logbook of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and expenses. Submit reports to the logistics supervisor
• Compliance: Follow NAFDAC/regulatory requirements when transporting pharmaceutical products. Maintain cold chain where required

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years proven experience driving 10ft, 20ft, or 30ft trucks. Experience with pharma/FMCG distribution is an advantage
• License: Valid Class C or Class E Driver’s License. Must have Lagos State Driving Permit
• Knowledge: Good knowledge of Lagos roads, Apapa port, warehouses, and major routes. Defensive driving experience

Skills:

• Clean driving record with no major accidents
• Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Honesty, reliability, and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physical: Physically fit to supervise loading/offloading. Must pass drug/alcohol test
• Other: Must reside within Lagos Island, VI, Ikoyi, or Lekki. Available for early morning and weekend trips when required

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 per month.
