Job Description
Demand Planning
Facilitate accurate demand forecasts for each stock-keeping unit for the areas of
accountability, by week/month/location for the upcoming 0-18 month time horizon.
Management of the category demand review process leading to the consensus agreement at Country Manager level by analyzing and driving the discussions.
Proactive cross functional communication to manage execution of commercial plans,
balancing short term business opportunities with supply capability.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to simplify and standardize processes to improve forecasts, optimizing customer service and cash generation.
Facilitate Supply Chain initiatives, e.g. Reduction of working capital, SKU reduction/delist and new product launch through project management tools.
Product Sourcing
Identify and set-up product sourcing within product specification and cost requirements, working with EMEA regional planners.
Negotiate SLA, including MOQ, production cycles, forecasting parameters, supply chain terms, and implement.
Manages WECA longer term forecasts with sourcing locations.
Ensure Master Data integrity of SAP systems through regular system Health-Checks.
Supply Planning
Calculate the optimal stock level for each stock keeping unit by considering deviation in
forecast, service level expectations and the planning lead times.
Plan the required quantity of finished goods for the East and Central Africa Region based on forecasts and the required stock level.
Coordinate the contract manufactured finished products planning, including orders for hard rolls and packaging materials.
Create and Track Purchase Orders for Exports requirements.
Co-ordinate Net Forecast Requirements To Supplier At Required Intervals.
Work with Shipping co-ordinator(s) to ensure the orders are being delivered on time and
mitigate risks of delays in Purchase Order deliveries.
Regular feedback to stakeholder at Weekly S&OP meetings with regards to operational
issues.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
7 years of work experience, with 3 years or more of experience in planning functions, demand planning is an advantage.
Fluent in English, French or Portuguese is an advantage.
Global VISA and Relocation Specifications:
This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. K-C will not provide relocation support for this role.
