Harvest Manager
Job Description for the above mentioned
position:
1) Directs and
coordinates worker activities, such as harvesting, processing, payroll, and
recordkeeping.
2) Analyzes farm
conditions to determine resource allocations.
3) Records information,
such as production, farm management practices, and parent stock, and prepares
financial and operational reports.
4) Determines procedural
changes in harvesting and movement for greater efficiency and accuracy.
5) Inspects equipment
daily to ensure proper functioning prior to use.
6) Inspects farms to
determine maturity dates of bamboo.
7) Plans and directs
harvest team members.
8) Plans for the
purchases consumable supplies.
9) Hires, discharges,
transfers, and promotes workers, enforces safety regulations, and interprets
policies.
10) Makes budget
proposals.
Location: Akure, Ondo
State
