Job Title: Pharmacologist

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-driven Pharmacologist to support our drug research, medical information, and product development activities.
• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of drug mechanisms, clinical data, and regulatory requirements, and will work closely with medical, sales, and regulatory teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drug Research & Evaluation: Review pharmacological data, literature, and clinical trial results for new and existing products.
• Medical Information: Provide evidence-based drug information to healthcare professionals, internal teams, and customers.
• Product Support: Assist with product monographs, detailing materials, and training for sales/medical reps.
• Regulatory Compliance: Support registration dossiers, safety reports, and responses to NAFDAC/PCN queries.
• Pharmacovigilance: Monitor, document, and report adverse drug reactions and safety signals.
• Collaboration Work with R&D, marketing, and quality assurance teams on product positioning and lifecycle management.
• Training: Conduct CME sessions, product trainings, and scientific presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology.
• Experience: 1-2 years experience in pharma, research, medical affairs, or academia preferred. Fresh graduates with strong research/internship background will be considered.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug interactions.
• Good scientific writing and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, PubMed, and reference management tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of GCP, GMP, and NAFDAC guidelines is a plus.
• Other: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Victoria Island, Lagos.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
