We are recruiting accross 18 African Countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroun, Congo Brazaville, Congo DRC, CDI, Chad, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Mozambique, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia
Roles and Responsibilities
- Project and position the UBA brand as the top pan-African institution in your country
- Ensure transformative initiatives are put in place
- Promote Bank products and services through the delivery of effective communications campaigns, using both digital and traditional platforms to enhance brand visibility
- Design effective Internal communications strategy to galvanise staff and keep them constantly informed about events, products and other activities
- Ensure brand compliance of all collaterals
- Maintain consistent and top-quality ambiance in all branches of your subsidiary
- Identify and implement strategic airport and city branding in your country of operation
- Organize impactful corporate events and sponsorships
- Manage the social media platforms effectively
- Optimize your website and ensure it is constantly updated and easy to navigate
- Initiate and activate corporate social responsibility initiatives for best practices in your subsidiary
- Manage your media relations and network
- Maintain a good understanding of regional and local industry trends. Conduct regular industry analyses
- Ensure and maintain good quality and guide against brand erosion of all brand collaterals.
- Ensure zero negative publicity for the brand
- Promote REDTV and its contents
- Ensure monthly and weekly publications are delivered on time and uploaded unto the intranet
- Manage your local Marketing and communications team and co-ordinate effectively and efficiently with group and other subsidiary heads
Education requirement
- Minimum of First degree,preferably in Public Relations, Journalism,Communication or Marketing
- Additional qualifications -MSc/MBA/Professional certifications is required
Required Experience
- A minimum of 5 years in a public relationship management role.
- Demonstrated competence in the design and execution of marketing, and PR activities
Knowledge/Slkills
- Knowledge of the bank’s policies, products and services.
- Full understanding of media needs and media relationships.
- Working knowledge of E-Media channels, Communication/awareness strategy
- Strategic Customer Service.
- Able to utilize the internet for information gathering and broadcasting.
- Familiar with the use of the leading social networks tools.
