About Our Client
Multinational company, world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of HVAC Equipment. Due to their rapid growth in the African continent our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to oversee Nigeria and Ghana.
Job Description
As BDM, some of your responsibilities will be:
- Work together with your direction, you elaborate a sales plan with the objectives to achieve in your territory
- Develop your network with target clients. You identify new prospects and gather their specific needs.
- Manage, develop and follow the distribution channels in the countries you are responsible of
- Coordinate with internal teams at the headquarters on technical offers and client proposals
- Negotiate your client proposals and deliver quality information based on their needs.
- Follow up closely your ongoing offers and projects and you remain available to your clients in the after-sale phase
- Build strong long-term relationships with your clients and prospects to assure the longevity of you commercial activities
- Be proactive and organized with the aim to expand in short or medium term your responsibilities
- Organize and attend different trade shows and other commercial events in your zone
- Provide an accurate and regular reporting to the Direction at the headquarters
The Successful Applicant
You hold a Technical Bachelor or Engineering degree. A complementary sales education background will be a plus. You have at least 5 year experience selling technical HAVC Equipment in the zone. You are at ease when negotiating contracts for Industrial Refrigeration and Cooling Systems. You are autonomous and dynamic. Result oriented you are used to frequent travel and working within a multicultural environment. You speak English fluently and you can work remotely.
