Job Title: Head, Human Resources & Administration
Job Description
- Develop and manage the HR strategy for the School; the strategy must cover the key HR functions; Recruitment, Performance management, Talent management, Training & Development, Employee relations, HRIS, Compensation Management etc.
- Develop and manage HR/Administration department budget
- Lead key, major HR projects to deliver specific objectives and strategic changes in the school
- Initiate and implement talent management initiatives
- Drive the promotion of organizational culture that supports the School’s vision and high productivity
- Lead and champion communication across departments by initiating heads of functions meetings from time to time
- Conduct annual manpower planning including career development and personnel audit
- Develop modern core HR policies in response to and addressing business needs of the school and legal compliance requirements
- Responsible for managing and improving performance management system
- Oversee the activities of service providers; HMO, pensions, insurances etc and constantly evaluate their performance
- Generate reports from time to time on various HR activities/ innovation
- Develop policies and procedures that deal with HR issues
- Monitor the school wide objective setting process
- Provide advice and case management support in areas of grievance and discipline
- Develop and maintain excellent management information and HR systems e.g. ESS and premier HR to provide up to date information to aid management decision
