The Senior Business Development Officer will support the Chief Operating Officer:

    • Identifying new sales leads.
    • Pitching Agusto Consulting’s Training courses
    • Maintaining cordial relationships with existing clients.
    • Liaising with and assisting the COO to prepare and implement the company’s business development plan.
    • Develop a growth strategy focused on attracting new clients
    • Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets.
    • Initiating, setting up and attending business meetings
    • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
    • Attending pertinent conferences, meetings and targeted industries events.
    • Managing client relationships and engagement (incl. social media engagement).
    • Other tasks that may be assigned by the COO.

    Ideal candidate must have:
    • First degree in any discipline
    • Masters’ degree in in marketing or business (M.Sc. or MBA) would be an advantage.
    • Between five and eight years’ relevant work experience, post-first degree qualification (applicants with less than five years’ experience need not apply).
    • Business Development Experience within the Financial Services industry or Business Development Experience in professional services/training/consulting (serving players in the Financial Service industry)
    • Exceptional Networking skill is critical for this role.
    • High-level of proficiency with MS Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
    • Excellent presentation, pitching services & products, communication and report writing skills (Advanced fluency in written and spoken English, a must)
    • Must be social media savvy.
