Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead corporate strategic change initiatives across the organization
- Develop an effective CSR programme encompassing environment, workplace, community and marketplace issues that will deliver agreed CSR targets
- Ensure development and delivery of best practice people and culture strategies and programs that maximize individual and organizational capability
- Lead in the development and execution of a viable Human Resource Strategy for ECM Terminals
- Lead the ongoing development of a professional and achievement focused workforce and culture
- Lead the organization as effective business and strategic partners in providing innovative Human Resource solutions to the organization division staff and customers of the company through meetings, e-mail and one on one interaction.
- Lead the organization in effectively championing and institutionalizing organizational change initiatives
- Lead the organization in the development and execution of Talent Management initiatives that confers on the organization a competitive advantage in its market consistent with best practice.
- Maintain cordial relations with unions and community.
- Manage union and community relations

Qualifications & Experience
- 12 to 14 years of quality work experience; 5 of which must be at senior management level
- Extensive experience in providing strategic leadership and influencing and leading change in complex organizations
- Professional qualification
- Strong political and business acumen.
- University Degree
- Working knowledge of port and shipping industry is of critical advantage
