A global leader in technology is seeking the above to manage the raw material and finished goods stock within their manufacturing and warehousing facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Analysing stock movement and optimising the inventory holding within the company throughout all departments.
- Preparing and maintaining records of all inventory.
- Compiling inventory reports and issuing them to management
- Compiling delivery notes against the relevant accounts,
- Ensuring that stock is returned to suppliers for repairs.
- Attending inventory / export meetings.
- Preparing parcels correctly and in time for collection by courier company.
- Administering all relevant paperwork.
- Assisting with any queries related to stock holding, including costing, warehousing and clearing.
- Managing all stock control functions including conducting regular stock and providing an appropriate level of stock availability whilst effectively administrating the division's stock management programme.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- A related tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Must have 1-3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Previous inventory controlling experience is essential.
- Must understand warehousing and logistics with regards to stock.
- It is essential to have a forklift license.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Previous experience on an ERP system, ideally SAP.
Salary package is highly negotiable based on experience gained.
