Job description
The Financial Controller leads a team of finance and accounting officers who manage the finances of the organization.
This position is primarily responsible for the management and oversight of the Group’s cash flow. This includes managing all budgeting and forecasting for the procurement of resources and the control of expenditure necessary for the organisation’s activities.
Reporting to the Group Managing Director (GMD), the Financial Controller, is a key part of the Group office management team, handling the finances of the organisation.
The ideal candidate for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
- BSc in Accounting.
- Post Graduate Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- Be a Chartered Accountant.
- Have Knowledge of Accounting and Reporting Software.
- Have Good Computer Skills.
- Be a member of at least 1 Professional Body.
- Have Good Oral and Written Communication Skills.
- Have Good Analytical Skills.
