Job description
Amongst other duties, the Laboratory Instrument Technician will;
- Maintain a safe, Healthy and Risk Free Working Environment
- Maintain, Repair and Optimise Plant laboratory and Associate Devices
- Champion Quality at source equipment maintenance and calibration
- Liaises With OEM/Rep for quarterly, biannual and yearly equipment maintenance to schedule
- Champions asset care/COSWIN implementation for quality control
- Facilitate team problem solving and decision making
- Locate plant, Equipment, spares and relevant documentation/Systems
- Calibrate equipment according to good maintenance practice
- Apply the VPO principles and practices
- Contribute to Self and Team development and Communicate effectively in the Work place
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
The occupant of this position should possess:
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. In Sciences
- Good knowledge of best Laboratory Equipment Handling practices in Manufacturing
- Minimum of 5 years prior experience in a FMCG environment
- Not less than 2 years’ experience in a similar role will be an added advantage
- Must be Computer literate
