Duties and responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the Packaging Machine Specialists will;
- Optimise Plant And Equipment Availability And Reliability Maintain a safe, Healthy and Risk Free Working Environment
- Maintain, Repair and Optimise Plant and Associate Devices
- Provide Specialist Technical Support and enhance Machine, System and process capabilities
- Optimise Team Performance
- Optimise Process Performance
- Facilitate Problem Solving
- Contribute to Self and Team development and Communicate effectively in the Work place
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
The occupant of this position should possess:
- OND, HND or BEng Mechanical or Electromechanical
- Minimum of 3-4 years as Process or Maintenance Artisan on high speed packing lines
- Computer Literate
Key competencies and attributes
- Systemic and Analytical problem-solver
- Good leadership Potential
- Good understanding of modern maintenance practices and maintenance system Be conversant with the manufacturing way and Global Evaluation of Manufacturing (GEM)
- Good knowledge of packaging production processes and technologies
- Influencing ability with regards to sound maintenance
- Act with integrity
