Job description
Working under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) and the direct supervision of the Programme Manager (STRR – DDRR), and coordinating with the Programme Advisor at IOM HQ and the IOM Washington corner, specifically the IOM Global Coordinator for OTI Programmes, the successful candidate will participate as a member of
the Senior Management Team for the OTI-funded Demobilization, Disassociation, Reintegration and Reconciliation (DDRR) initiative in Nigeria and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the DDRR programme. The Programme Officer will coordinate the various priorities and activities that emerge from the overall work of the DDRR programme in order to establish systems, commitments and support to the handling and reintegration of programme beneficiaries relating to Boko Haram / ISIS WA and the impacts of ongoing conflict.
