A firm in the logistics sector seeks qualified candidates to fill this role
- Delivery officers have to make entries of all the deliveries they are making.
- They also have to take signatures of the people to whom they are delivering
- They also should know all the roads and should be adept at finding out the fastest routes.
- They also have to be willing to work in shifts as their delivery timings won't be fixed.
- They have to be extra careful while making deliveries at night.
Responsibilities
- Delivery officers have to deliver all the goods that are assigned to them and on time
- They have to map out the fastest route to the desired destination
- They have to make entries regarding the goods that they are delivering
- They have to drive safely at all times and have to conduct inspections about their vehicles, whether it is in good condition, and if need be, they should also be able to repair it
- They have to know all the roads of the city they are working in
- The officers should know all the paperwork, like receipts, that are required and have to issue them to the customers
- Also, they have to be in touch with their superiors and inform them if there are any delays
- They have to drive safely at all costs
- Education Required by Delivery officers
- Since paperwork is involved, they should at least have a high school diploma so maintain paperwork and issuing airway bill becomes easier
