Job Description
• To Coordinate The Reconciliation Of All General Ledger Accounts Managed By The Sales Support & Financial Control Department
• Ensure That Payments Made By Distributors Are Reconciled To The Respective Bank Accounts, That Distributor Statements Are Reconciled To The General Ledger And Inventory Sub-Ledger Reconciled To Inventory General Ledger Accounts.
• Supervise Reconciliation Of All Connect Store Bank Accounts, Dealer Collection Accounts And Other GL Accounts Managed By Sales Support And Financial Control.
• Initiate And Review All Requests For New General Ledger (GL) Accounts From S&D And Proposes GL Mapping For New Entries Impacting General Ledger.
• Conduct Periodic Review/Analysis Of Inventory General Ledger Information, Investigate And Resolve Reconciling Items And Adjust Entries To Correct Errors Noted.
• Review The Computation Of Various Categories Of Commission.
• Assist With Ad-Hoc Wholesale Accounting Projects Or Assignments In Support Of The Department.
• Ensure Value Is Created When Engaging With Customers
• Prepare Agreed Activity And Performance Reports On A Timely Basis For Relevant Stakeholders.
• Continuously Seek Self-Professional Development To Sharpen Skills And Capabilities In A Versatile And Evolving Digital Landscape.
• Foster Active Collaboration And Relationships With Employees Across All Levels And Divisions In Line With MTN’s VB And Values.

Experience & Training
Education:
First Degree In Any Related Discipline
A Professional Accounting Qualification
Fluent In English
Experience:
• Minimum Of 3 Years’ Experience In An Area Of Specialisation; With Experience Working With Others
•Experience In A Similar/ Related Function
•Experience Working In A Medium Organization
Training:
•Report Writing.

Minimum Qualification BA, BEd, BSc Or HND
