Job description

A leading water treatment company who specialize in plant building and taking the process from design through to completion are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team. They are also involved in the operation of drinking water and wastewater treatment plants for both municipal and industrial sectors.

Currently they are looking for a Business Development Manager for EPC wastewater treatment projects in addition to desalination projects.

Reporting into the Head of Department you will be responsible for locating new business opportunities across the West Africa region.

This role would be based in Nigeria.

Key experience

8- 13 years of experience

Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject

Strong experience in EPC Business development for water treatment projects

Some O&M business development experience advantageous

Must be familiar with the region

Large EPC exposure

Proven excellent Business Development skills

Key responsibilities

Locating new business opportunities

Obtain advance information on projects and assess competition, technology requirement and qualification conditions

Build and nurture productive relationships with client etc

Ensure successful pre-qualification

Establish partnerships for joint bidding

Ensure post bid client interface support

Documentation and dissemination of market info with team members

Identify and develop appropriate agent and local partners
