Job Description
- Generate and publish up-to-date reports, covering macro-economic indicators, equities, fixed income and other investment related products in frontiers, emerging and developed markets, to support investment decisions for various stakeholders.
- Contribute to corporate deals and securities transactions flow through the generation and dissemination of accurate and timely reports.
- Generate and distribute daily market update i.e., a daily report that reviews market activity and provides a summary of our short/long term outlook of the equity market.
- Develop a global strategy to expand our research capabilities in line with our company mission to lead the global investment path to Africa.
- Provide income generating opportunities from a broad range of publications and periodic journals focused on the analysis of key issues in the macro-economy, money and capital markets.
Core Responsibilities
- Generate cutting edge research reports suitable for publication in local and international platforms, including;
- Weekly stock recommendation list.
- Monthly market report - overview of economy, socio-political environment and financial markets (money market, bond market equities market).
- Flash notes- to communicate our opinion on sensitive market information.
- Company update reports - 2page summary of current developments in a particular company.
- Industry reports- Review of industry and report on individual companies.
- Create relevant indices (equities, bond, etc.).
Knowledge And Skills Requirements
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of key industries.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
