The Shared Services Order to Cash (OTC) Cash Application Associate
will be responsible forthe processing and allocation of all incoming
cash receipts as well as resolution of payment issues/customer queries
within the Shared Services Order to Cash team. The position will be
tasked with driving and delivering OTC service excellence to the
business with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process
improvement to further enhance the OTC service level and effectiveness
expected throughout

- Responsible for delivering high quality services to key customers (who include Customers, Suppliers, Employees, Executives, Regulatory Bodies, etc)
- Ensures that Coca-Cola European Partners policies are adhered to (e.g. approvals, financial guidelines, etc.)
- Ensures the accurate and timely application of customer payments on a daily basis
- Performs the clearing activities of the open items on the customer ledgers.
- Involvement in OTC process improvement projects
- Performs payment runs and direct debits as per the payment schedule, escalating issues as appropriate to the OTC ARS Manager
- Handling incoming customer queries related to payments and cash allocation in Sales Force.
- Ensures that all queries are logged including unidentified payments, short payments, over payments and inadequate invoice data
- Ensures that Cash Application period end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
- Supplies advice on Cash Application processes where required
- Ensures all relevant process flows and desk top procedures are reviewed, updated and approved on a regular basis (at least quarterly)
- Works to ensure the achievement of customer service requirements as defined by both formal Service Partnership Agreements as well as Customer Satisfaction surveys
- Assures that the appropriate internal control environment and SOX compliance are maintained along with compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements
- Other Cash application and payments related activities, as requested or assigned by the line manager.
- Minimum of 2 years Cash Application/Accounts Receivable experience in a multinational organisation and/or Shared Services environment
- A good understanding of wider Order to Cash area processes
- Ability to assess a problem and escalate it to the appropriate level
- Fluent in English -essential
- Swedish/Norwegian will be considered as an advantage
- ERP experience essential, preferably SAP
- Strong customer service orientation
