A senior investigator position is available in the department of Metabolic Diseases within the Servier Research Institute in Suresnes, France.
Key responsibilities:
The senior investigator will be responsible for leading projects from target discovery up to preclinical candidate selection.
This involves establishing and executing a clear strategy while respecting timelines and allocated resources.
As an innovation leader, he/she will be involved in the evaluation of in licensing opportunities and the development of a knowledge-based environment by developing key contacts with key opinion leaders and academic clusters.
The position involves working in a matrix organization within multidisciplinary teams of scientists dedicated to the discovery of new therapeutic solutions for the treatment of Heart Failure
He/she will report to the Cardiovascular Diseases Discovery Research Deputy Director and will have to lead the project core team.
Ideal Profile :
• PhD in life science with postdoctoral experience.
• Strong expertise in the field of cardiovascular diseases (Heart Failure, Arrhythmias) from in vitro to in vivo pharmacology.
• >5 years of drug discovery in pharmaceutical industry or biotech with established track record (publications, patents,…) and project management skills.
• Fluent in English
