    Key Responsibilities of the Role:
    • Create business development pipeline and partnerships strategy working closely with the Director of Strategic Partnerships.
    • Develop and build relationships with technology companies ranging in size and scale.
    • Close channel partnerships with value-aligned organizations.
    • Explore new and creative ways of working with organizations that have a need for engineering talent.
    • Be a spokesperson for the Andela brand and represent Andela at community building events and conferences.
    • Communicate and coordinate internationally with clients stakeholders, fellows in Africa, and leadership in NYC.

    Requirements (what makes you a great fit for this role):
    • You have at least 3-5 years of experience working in either a business development capacity or in the startup world.
    • You have a strong network of relationships within your industry of expertise.
    • You have a proven track record of relationship building and strong networks of potential partners for Andela on either coast.
    • You think on your feet and can tailor solutions depending on the organization you’re speaking with.
    • You are a self-starter and able to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple engagements.
    • You must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • You are unceasingly passionate about technology development, the future of distributed work and the equal distribution of opportunity across the globe.
    • You put the Andela brand and Andela fellows first in all conversations and negotiations.
